8. Rajasthan

Rajasthan is also known as ‘The Land of Kings’ and is the largest state of the Republic of India by area which is located in the northwest of India.
Rajasthan with it’s palaces, forts, desert, camels, elephants, and snake charmers, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India, for both domestic and international tourists. Rajasthan attracts tourists for its historical forts, palaces, art and culture. It is an incredible destination for the outdoor tourist as to take a safari on horses, camels, elephants or even in jeeps, with the Aravalis, India's oldest mountain range as the backdrop.
The most preferred destinations of many Indian and foreign tourists in this state are Jaipur, lakes of Udaipur, and desert forts of Jodhpur, Bikaner &Jaisalmer and more.
This has some most beautiful forts like Amer Fort or Amber Fort, Bikaner Fort or Junagarh Fort, Taragarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort, City Palace, Jaipur, Umaid Bhawan Palace and many more.
