Madhya Pradesh is located at the
centre of the country so that it is also called as 'Heart of India'. It is treated as the home
for cultural heritage of Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, etc. In this state, number
of Innumerable monuments, temples with excellently carved, stupas, forts &
palaces are presented. In the year 2012, Madhya Pradesh bagged the Best Tourism
State Award.
In this state these are natural
wonders showered most of its natural beauty with beautiful hill ranges namely
Vindhya & Kaimur and are fed by some of the Peninsula's major rivers, such
as the Narmada and the Mahanadi.
Most of the state nearly one third
of this state is filled up with forests and offers a unique and exciting
panorama of wildlife.
Khajuraho Erotic Temples, Bandhavgarh
& Kanha National Parks, Gwalior, Orchha, Mandu are some of the popular tourism
places in this state. In this state number of National Parks are available like
Bandhavgarh National Park, Kanha National Park, Satpura National Park, Sanjay National Park, Madhav National Park, Panna National Park and etc.
