Karnataka is the eighth largest state in India and it has been ranked as the 5th most popular state relating to the tourism in India. Kannada is the most widely spoken and official language of the state. After Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka is the home to more than 507 monuments of 3600 centrally protected monuments in India.

Bangalore is the capital city of the Karnataka which is located on the Deccan Plateau in the south-eastern part of Karnataka, which is the third most populous city and fifth-most populous urban agglomeration of India and also it is well known as the hub of India's information technology sector.

Tourism centers available in this state are ancient sculptured temples, modern cities, the hill ranges, forests and beaches. Sringeri is one of the finest and most celebrated pilgrimage centers in this state which is situated in the left bank of the river Tungabhadra and it is located in sahyadri hills.
